7414 / 74LS14 / SN7414 / SN74LS14 : Hex Schmitt-Trigger Inverter
SN74LS14 General Description :
Each circuit functions as an inverter, but because of the Schmitt action, it has different input threshold levels for positive-going (VT+) and negative-going (VT–) signals. These circuits are temperature compensated and can be triggered from the slowest of input ramps and still give clean, jitter-free output signals.
SN74LS14 feature:
- Operation From Very Slow Edges
- Improved Line-Receiving Characteristics
- High Noise Immunity

74LS00 – Quad 2-input NAND gate
74LS00 General Description :
The 74LS00 TTL IC contains four independent gates each of which performs the logic NAND function. The LS means Low Power Schottky. The low power means the IC has a lower power consumption than the original TTL device but with a slower response. The Schottky is used to reduce the response time. Schottky metal-semiconductor junctions are featured in the 74S, 74LS and 74ALS series, where they are employed as clamps in parallel with the collector-base junctions of the bipolar junction transistor (BJT) to prevent their saturation, thereby greatly reducing their turn-off delays.

74HC04 / 74HCT04 General Description :
The 74HC04 / 74HCT04 TTL IC contains six independent gates each of which performs the logic INVERT function (Hex Inverter). The HC means High speed CMOS, similar performance to LS, 12nS, while the HCT means High speed, compatible logic levels to bipolar parts. Compare to its LS brother, 74LS04.
The 74HC/HCT04 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices and are pin compatible with low power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). They are specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7A. The 74HC/HCT04 provide six inverting buffers. » Read more: 74HC04 Datasheet
